About the role

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Specialist NICU Physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering high‑quality care to critically ill newborns and supporting their families throughout the treatment journey.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialized medical care to critically ill newborns in the NICU.
• Monitor and manage ventilation for premature and sick infants.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Communicate progress and updates to parents and families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to plan and implement patient care.
• Participate in developing best practices for NICU care.
• Train and supervise junior medical staff and nursing teams.
• Ensure compliance with infection‑control and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Required profile

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a NICU setting, with extensive ventilation expertise.
• Advanced knowledge of neonatal medicine and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Commitment to patient safety and high‑quality care.
• Western education/training background.
