Specialist Pipelines Engineer

About the role

Worley Parsons is seeking a Specialist Pipelines Engineer to ensure technical assurance and compliance of contractor deliverables across our energy, chemicals and resources projects in Abu Dhabi. You will act as the key liaison between the contractor and the company, reviewing documentation, supporting procurement, and overseeing construction and commissioning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve discipline‑specific engineering documents, assign review codes and track review cycles.
• Participate in design review sessions and technical audits to verify compliance with codes, standards and project specifications.
• Resolve technical queries, assess concession requests and provide justified approvals or rejections.
• Support procurement activities, including vendor document reviews and approvals.
• Assist construction and commissioning teams with inspections, punch‑listing and certification releases (DAC/MC, etc.).
• Verify final documentation and database completeness at hand‑over.

Required profile

• Minimum 180 months (15 years) of relevant experience in pipeline engineering.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards and best practices.
• Ability to conduct technical audits and lead design review meetings.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
