Specialist – Verification & Training

About the role

The Specialist – Verification & Training is responsible for independent quality assurance of assessment decisions within the ATA program and for delivering technical training to AGC employees. Working autonomously, the role ensures compliance with internal procedures and external standards such as NQC and OPITO while supporting business growth through innovative training initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Verify the quality and consistency of assessment decisions made by assessors.
• Ensure assessment processes comply with required quality‑assurance systems and internal verification procedures.
• Provide feedback, advice and support to assessors on competence judgments.
• Conduct internal verification activities, including interim verification, and maintain related records.
• Participate in standardisation and internal audit activities to promote consistent assessment approaches.
• Develop, update and deliver short‑course training materials in line with technical and safety requirements.
• Align ADNOC skill profiles with the NQC portfolio and promote training offerings at internal and external events.
• Maintain professional competence through continuous professional development and CPD.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high level of professionalism.
• Strong understanding of the standards and assessment requirements for the relevant ATA program.
• Experience in delivering technical training and developing learning resources.
• Proven track record of supporting quality‑assurance systems and implementing corrective actions.
