About the role

Mediclinic Parkview Hospital is seeking a qualified Sports Podiatrist to join its outpatient department. The role focuses on delivering preventative care, diagnosis and treatment for foot, ankle and lower‑leg conditions while ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, treat and evaluate abnormalities and diseases of the foot and lower limb, including high‑risk patients.
• Perform daily administrative tasks required for efficient OPD and inpatient operations.
• Conduct biomechanical assessments and support the production of orthotic devices.
• Provide podiatry training and education to patients and colleagues.
• Participate actively in quality‑improvement and clinical‑governance programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma (3‑year qualification) in Podiatry from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in English – both verbal and written.

• Infection prevention and control protocols.
• Computer literacy.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Biomechanical assessment techniques.
