Staff Physician, Neuro-Oncology

About the role

The Staff Physician in Neuro‑Oncology will join the Cancer Institute – Oncology specialty at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. This full‑time position focuses on diagnosing, preventing and treating neuro‑oncology patients, providing direct care and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and provide comprehensive care to neuro‑oncology patients within the Cancer Institute.
• Prescribe and administer medication, therapy, and specialized medical treatments.
• Analyze records, reports and test results to establish diagnoses.
• Gather detailed patient histories and explain procedures, test results and treatment plans.
• Perform surgical procedures and operations as appropriate for neuro‑oncology cases.
• Document patient evaluations and coordinate referrals to other medical staff.
• Collaborate with medical and non‑medical staff to ensure high‑quality patient treatment.
• Participate in administrative functions such as committees, task forces and performance improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MD, MBBS, MBChB or equivalent) and a valid license/registration in the home country or last place of employment.
• At least two (2) years of post‑qualification experience, preferably from a Tier 1 country listed by the UAE DOH.
• Ability to meet Maintenance of Certification requirements where applicable.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
