Steward

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Steward to join the Food & Beverage team at our hotel in Dubai. The role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen, store rooms and dining areas, ensuring all equipment and utensils are ready for service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, pot‑scrubbing stations and trash compactors.
• Wash, disinfect and store kitchen tools, knives, tables, dishes and other wares using detergents, rinsing and sanitising chemicals.
• Receive deliveries, store perishables correctly and rotate stock.
• Inspect, pull, stack and re‑wash items as needed; break down dirty bus tubs and manage waste disposal.
• Clean and mop all assigned areas, empty trashcans, and handle recyclables.
• Follow company safety, security and quality policies; report maintenance issues or unsafe conditions.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, twist and stoop for extended periods.
• No specific educational requirement; high school diploma or equivalent not mandatory.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work cooperatively with team members.
