About the role

The Steward will join The First Group Hospitality’s flagship property in Dubai, ensuring that all dishwashing and cleaning equipment operates efficiently and that the kitchen environment meets the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of all washing up and cleaning machinery, ensuring equipment is in proper working order.
• Report any faults or maintenance issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Follow fire and safety precautions, especially those related to kitchen and dishwashing areas.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Assist with routine deep‑cleaning tasks and support the kitchen team during peak periods.

Required profile

• Reliability and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols.
• Physical stamina for standing and handling equipment for extended periods.

Required skills
