Storage Systems Administrator

About the role

The Storage Systems Administrator will be responsible for installing, administrating and maintaining the bank's storage and backup infrastructure. This includes ensuring high availability, performance tuning, regular backups and compliance with the bank’s IT quality and security policies.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, document and implement Storage Area Networks (SAN) and associated hardware and software.
• Plan, schedule and execute SAN improvements, patches and upgrades.
• Monitor SAN performance and its interaction with connected servers.
• Collaborate with IT and user teams to support production, enhancements and project activities.
• Escalate problems to vendors and third‑party support as needed.
• Support SAN‑related project development.
• Configure and recover SAN and LAN backups, including backup policies and cloning for new systems.
• Coordinate daily backup and recovery tasks with IT Operations.
• Monitor remote replication and disaster‑recovery processes.
• Provide audit, information security and quality assurance support in line with bank policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in storage, backup or SAN administration.
