About the role
We are looking for a diligent Storekeeper to manage inventory, inbound and outbound logistics, and overall warehouse operations. The role ensures accurate stock records, safe material handling, and strict compliance with security and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the approved ERP system and apply FIFO/FEFO principles.
- Conduct daily stock transactions, cycle counts, and periodic physical inventories.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials, reporting any damages or non‑conformities.
- Prepare and dispatch materials for production or external stakeholders, ensuring proper picking, packing, labeling, and documentation.
- Organize warehouse layout for efficient space utilization, safety, and 5S compliance.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys safely.
- Adhere to security controls, confidentiality requirements, and support audit activities.
- Follow HSE policies, use prescribed PPE, and report unsafe conditions promptly.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; diploma or vocational training in logistics or warehouse management preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in warehouse or storekeeping operations.
- Ability to handle materials up to 25 kg safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive reporting of shortages or discrepancies.
Required skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems for inventory management.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (pallet jacks, trolleys).
