Strategic Security Advisor

About the role

The Strategic Security Advisor joins TrendAI, the AI‑focused business unit of Trend Micro, to own business and security outcomes for a portfolio of strategic customers. Acting as the trusted security expert, you will design and guide the evolution of each customer’s security posture while orchestrating post‑sales delivery across engineering and other functions.

Key responsibilities

• Architect the Security Account Success Plan (ASP) and monthly credit burn curve aligned with business objectives and threat landscape.
• Design target‑state security architectures that reflect the customer’s environment, risk appetite, and compliance obligations.
• Track credit consumption versus plan and trigger corrective actions when variances exceed thresholds.
• Conduct security gap analyses, technology fingerprinting, and architecture reviews for workloads such as XDR, identity, email, and cloud security.
• Develop reference architectures and deployment blueprints to accelerate time‑to‑value and deliver the first security win.
• Identify expansion opportunities, including credit top‑ups, additional modules, and multi‑year commitments based on realized value.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and security architecture.
• Proven ability to engage executive sponsors and translate technical solutions into measurable business outcomes.
• Strong customer‑success mindset with experience managing post‑sales engagements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
