Strategy and Operations Manager

About the role

AI71 is expanding its Ask business unit and needs a strategic leader to drive planning, performance analysis, and market research. As the Strategy and Operations Manager you will act as the analytical engine behind key decisions on product development, market entry, budgeting, and headcount.

Key responsibilities

• Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles, setting objectives and tracking progress.
• Manage the business unit budget in partnership with central finance.
• Conduct headcount planning, forecasting needs and associated costs.
• Prepare evidence‑based business reviews and performance dashboards.
• Build engagement economics, calculating cost‑to‑win, delivery expenses, and margins by client, project, and use case.
• Analyze delivery cost drivers such as engineering time, compute usage, and support.
• Research market trends, competitor activities, and size market segments to inform go‑to‑market strategy.
• Perform build‑buy‑partner analyses for capability gaps.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategy, operations, or finance within a technology‑focused environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills to work closely with senior leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high‑quality results under tight timelines.
