Structural Supervisor - Fabrication

About the role

Wood is seeking an experienced Structural Supervisor to lead structural steel fabrication activities for a high‑profile client in the UAE. The role ensures compliance with ADNOC standards, project specifications and safety requirements while delivering high‑quality components on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day fabrication tasks including cutting, drilling, fit‑up, welding and assembly of structural steel.
• Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC and planning teams to interpret drawings and maintain workflow.
• Monitor productivity, material availability and equipment utilisation to meet schedule targets.
• Enforce HSE policies and ADNOC safety standards throughout the shop.
• Provide regular progress reports to construction and project management.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of structural steel fabrication experience, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience on ADNOC or similar Middle‑East EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong knowledge of welding codes (AISC, AWS, BS/EN) and structural fabrication processes.
• Ability to lead multicultural teams and communicate across disciplines.
