Studio Lead

About the role

10 Design is seeking a Studio Lead to head its Dubai studio, expand its presence across the UAE and the wider Middle East, and ensure successful delivery of projects through its global network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead 10 Design’s regional presence, building and strengthening relationships with clients, developers, investors, consultants and strategic partners.
• Identify new business opportunities, lead client presentations, bids, proposals and strategic pursuits.
• Represent the firm at client meetings, industry events and regional forums, providing market intelligence.
• Manage, mentor and develop the Dubai team, fostering a high‑performing studio culture and ensuring alignment with the global practice.
• Support recruitment, performance management and professional development for the studio.
• Act as senior local lead on projects, coordinating remote teams across London, Edinburgh, Hong Kong, the US and other studios.
• Translate client requirements, regional regulations and commercial priorities into clear project instructions.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in architecture, masterplanning or related design disciplines.
• Strong business development track record and ability to nurture client relationships.
• Demonstrated capability to manage and mentor multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience coordinating projects across multiple international studios.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence representing the firm publicly.
