Subject Matter Expert – Reliability Engineering

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Subject Matter Expert in Reliability Engineering to lead the technical delivery of its Predictive Analytics and Asset Performance Management solutions across the Middle East. The role focuses on translating AI‑generated insights into actionable reliability improvements for customers in oil & gas, energy and industrial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for deployment, monitoring and sustainment of predictive analytics solutions.
• Validate and operationalise model outputs, ensuring they drive measurable reliability and financial benefits.
• Govern programme KPIs, FMEA and Bad Actor Management activities.
• Integrate predictive insights across rotating, static, electrical, process and integrity engineering domains.
• Collaborate with customers to optimise maintenance strategies and extend asset life.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in reliability engineering and predictive maintenance.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on delivering business value.
