Sustainability Specialist

About the role

The Sustainability Specialist will support ADNOC’s line teams in implementing the company’s sustainability strategy, policies and initiatives. You will act as a key source of up‑to‑date information on the sustainability roadmap, ensuring that data‑driven decisions contribute to ADNOC’s environmental goals.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis of environmental data, including emissions, flaring, carbon, water and waste, and conduct life‑cycle analyses (LCA).
• Calculate, review and analyse greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, carbon emissions, flaring data and energy consumption in line with corporate sustainability criteria.
• Represent ADNOC at sustainability management events, steering committee meetings and with local authorities, communicating policies and initiatives.
• Educate and train employees and stakeholders on the sustainability framework, goals and best practices.
• Maintain and update sustainability policies, procedures, communication materials and related documentation.
• Support the preparation and timely submission of sustainability reports, recording status updates and milestone achievements.
• Identify improvement opportunities, assess performance against sustainability plans and drive implementation of corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with sustainability procedures across ADNOC Group companies and ensure alignment with overall sustainability objectives.

• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
