SVP & Head of Credit, Corporate Core (Emiratized) – Dubai

About the role

The Senior Vice President & Head of Credit, Corporate Core will lead the corporate credit portfolio for the Dubai market, ensuring robust risk management and adherence to credit policies. This Emiratized role reports to the Head of Division and works closely with coverage, product and risk teams to deliver high‑quality credit decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the corporate credit portfolio, ensuring compliance with credit policies and minimal deviations.
• Oversee the end‑to‑end credit application process, guaranteeing that submissions meet standards and turnaround times.
• Guide analysts in structuring transactions, conducting deep‑dive risk analysis and preparing underwriting memos.
• Advise coverage teams on risk factors for complex or high‑risk transactions and ensure appropriate clauses are included.
• Lead due‑diligence and term‑sheet preparation, addressing emerging risk factors and supporting client meetings.
• Manage and develop a team of analysts, planning capacity, cross‑training staff and retaining key talent.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with an MBA in Finance.
• Minimum 15 years of banking experience, including at least 5 years in senior credit management roles with progressive responsibility.
