System Administrator

About the role

As the System Administrator based in Dubai, you will ensure that the office’s technology runs smoothly, from provisioning MacBooks to maintaining network and security infrastructure. You will work autonomously while collaborating closely with a DevOps team to keep internal systems reliable and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for office staff on‑site.
• Configure, deploy and maintain MacBook devices as the primary workstations.
• Manage the full employee onboarding and offboarding lifecycle, including account creation, device provisioning and access revocation.
• Maintain office IT infrastructure such as Wi‑Fi, LAN, printers, meeting rooms and VoIP systems.
• Keep an accurate IT asset inventory and oversee device lifecycle from procurement to retirement.
• Administer macOS security settings, FileVault encryption, OS updates and enforce security baselines.
• Operate MDM solutions (e.g., Jamf, Kandji, Intune) to ensure endpoint compliance.
• Administer Okta for identity and access management, including SSO, MFA and role‑based access control.
• Support corporate applications and VPN connections on macOS.
• Collaborate with DevOps to support cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience delivering on‑site IT support and device provisioning.
• Strong background in macOS administration and endpoint security.
• Familiarity with identity management platforms, particularly Okta.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with external vendors.
