Systems Engineer

About the role

Join ADCB’s Group Business Services team as a Systems Engineer, helping to design, develop and maintain cloud‑native, secure platforms that support high‑performing cross‑functional squads. Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, maintain and upgrade reliable, scalable, cloud‑native platforms and applications.
• Produce and maintain documentation for design, implementation, maintenance and operations.
• Conduct code reviews, manage technical debt and implement security best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, change control, incident and release management teams to ensure smooth deployments.
• Coordinate with external vendors to meet SLA and TAT requirements.
• Support project managers, manage transitions of new technologies, and resolve business‑user issues.
• Lead and develop the team in line with ADCB people‑management policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of systems administration experience in a large‑scale production environment, preferably in banking.
• Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and ITIL Foundation certification.

Required skills

• Virtualization technologies: VMware, Citrix, Cloud AVD, DevBox, Windows 365.
• Infrastructure: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, Windows 11, Windows Server 2019/2022.
• Networking, Storage, vSAN and security technologies.
• Experience with incident management, software releases and configuration management.
