Systems Security Architect

About the role

DarkMatter is seeking a senior Systems Security Architect to lead security technology and architecture initiatives across its engineering teams. You will work closely with product owners, cryptography experts, and cyber services architects to embed robust security into our product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Drive security technology and architecture efforts in engineering, collaborating with product owners in Secure Communications and Cryptography.
• Innovate and apply disruptive security technologies to enhance DarkMatter’s solutions.
• Design modular security architectures for reuse across multiple product families.
• Review engineering designs for security, improve architecture, and provide guidance for future solutions.
• Partner with Product Management and Business Development to prototype new product security architectures.
• Maintain security architecture documentation and associated security KPIs.
• Mentor and develop engineering teams in advanced security disciplines.

Required profile

• PhD or Master’s degree in Security, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• 10+ years of experience in a testing & validation lab environment for diverse products.
• Extensive research background with strong people‑management skills.
• Proven experience designing and implementing security solutions and architectures.
