Systems Specialist

About the role

Miral Experiences is seeking a proactive Systems Specialist to join its Technology Operations team. You will be responsible for administering, monitoring and supporting the on‑premises infrastructure, ensuring security, resilience and alignment with enterprise architecture and IT strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise Windows and Linux server environments, including OS upgrades, patching and hardware maintenance.
• Administer Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file services and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive).
• Operate VMware private‑cloud infrastructure, virtual machines and related storage and networking components.
• Oversee backup, disaster‑recovery and business‑continuity processes, performing regular testing and validation.
• Monitor performance, availability and security events; respond to incidents, conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and other scripting tools, and maintain accurate documentation of configurations and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field; relevant Microsoft, VMware and ITIL certifications are preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure support, with proven expertise in Microsoft and VMware environments.
• Experience managing enterprise‑scale projects, migrations and technology implementations.
