Talent Operations Specialist

About the role

The Talent Operations Specialist will ensure a smooth employee lifecycle, focusing on onboarding, probation management, and performance review administration. You will act as a liaison between new hires, managers, HR, and support functions to guarantee a professional and consistent experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the full onboarding journey from offer acceptance to probation completion, including schedules, welcome packs, documentation, and orientation sessions.
• Work with IT, Finance, Administration, and other departments to secure system access, equipment, and workspace before start dates.
• Maintain onboarding checklists, trackers, and employee files, and collect feedback for continuous improvement.
• Track probation periods, send reminders to managers, and manage confirmation, extension, or termination paperwork.
• Prepare regular reports on pending, overdue, and completed probation reviews.
• Support the performance management framework by coordinating annual, mid‑year, quarterly, and probationary review cycles.
• Maintain performance review calendars, eligibility lists, evaluation forms, and completion trackers.
• Guide employees and managers on review procedures, timelines, rating criteria, and documentation requirements.
