Tax Analyst

About the role

The Tax Analyst will work closely with the Senior Tax Manager to provide tax advice across the group’s evolving business lines and geographical footprint. The role covers corporate, international, and transfer‑pricing compliance for operations in the UK, Middle East and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, review and filing of regional direct tax compliance obligations, including corporate tax returns, CbC notifications and transfer‑pricing forms.
• Support implementation and ongoing compliance with the UAE e‑invoicing mandate, including ERP master‑data clean‑up and system testing.
• Analyse cross‑border transactions and ensure compliance with withholding tax and VAT obligations.
• Extract and analyse financial data from accounting systems (e.g., Oracle) to guarantee accurate tax reporting.
• Develop an understanding of the group’s businesses and provide ad‑hoc tax advice to business units.
• Coordinate communications with external auditors, tax advisors and tax authorities.

Required profile

• University degree in Tax, Finance or Accounting; professional membership (CPA/CA) preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of post‑qualification experience in a large global company, accounting or law firm.
• Strong knowledge of corporate tax, VAT, withholding tax, transfer pricing and tax accounting.
• Familiarity with IFRS and experience working with Oracle is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication skills and a proactive learning attitude.
