Tax Specialist

About the role

Kitopi is seeking a Tax Specialist to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance across its rapidly expanding cloud‑kitchen network in the GCC region. You will work closely with finance, legal and operations teams to align tax strategies with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file VAT, corporate tax and withholding tax returns in accordance with GCC regulations.
• Monitor legislative changes in tax law and update internal policies accordingly.
• Identify tax risks during return preparation and escalate issues to management.
• Research tax regulations to support advisory projects and business decisions.
• Maintain comprehensive tax records and documentation for audits.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants and legal advisors.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure transfer pricing compliance and proper documentation.
• Assess cross‑border transaction tax implications and recommend mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CTA, CPA or ACCA is preferred.
• Proven experience in tax compliance and reporting, preferably within GCC countries.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, corporate tax and international tax regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
