Teacher – Inspire Amazing Learning

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher to join The Aquila School, an international school committed to “amazing learning”. The role involves creating safe, engaging, and inclusive lessons that empower every pupil to make exceptional progress while upholding our Professional Code of Conduct and safeguarding policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that ensure active learning and progress for all students.
• Maintain the safety and well‑being of children at all times, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
• Lead CAS activities, contribute to staff training, and support school community initiatives such as newsletters and marketing events.
• Collaborate with colleagues and families to promote a positive, inclusive school ethos and meet the school’s academic targets.
• Participate in performance management processes and take on subject‑lead or lead‑learner responsibilities as the school grows.

Required profile

• Credible teaching experience with the ability to make lessons engaging and relevant.
• Strong initiative, flexibility, positivity and a proactive attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff and families.
• Commitment to safeguarding, diversity, equity, inclusion and the school’s vision.
