Teaching Assistant

About the role

Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi is looking for a proactive Teaching Assistant to join its Primary team. The role supports high-quality teaching and learning in Arabic, Islamic Studies and Social Studies, helping teachers deliver engaging lessons while ensuring a safe, inclusive environment for students.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing and delivering lessons across the specified subjects.
• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students to reinforce learning objectives.
• Monitor student behaviour and promote a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere.
• Support pastoral care by addressing students’ academic and wellbeing needs.
• Help maintain classroom resources, equipment and learning materials.
• Contribute to safeguarding practices and uphold the school’s child protection policies.
