Teaching & Learning Coach – Secondary

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Teaching and Learning Coach to join the Middle Leadership Team at GEMS Metropole School in Dubai. The role supports the Senior Leadership Team in enhancing teaching practice and student outcomes across the secondary phase.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of effective teaching pedagogy across all secondary teachers.
• Collaborate with senior and middle leaders to design and monitor learning strategies that improve pupil achievement.
• Coach, mentor and observe teachers, providing constructive feedback to raise instructional quality.
• Analyse classroom data and promote High‑Performance Learning (HPL) practices.
• Contribute to school‑wide professional development initiatives.

Required profile

• Fully certified teacher (B.Ed, PGCE or equivalent) with at least five years of classroom experience.
• Deep knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and its application in a secondary setting.
• Proven ability to lead, communicate and influence a diverse teaching staff.
• Passionate about delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
