Team Leader - Tawtheeq

About the role

The Tawtheeq Team Leader manages the Tawtheeq hub, the central point for the Branch Network to handle enquiries related to GCD, AML, RIM relationships and other compliance matters. The role also provides business insight, prepares reports and supports the performance and productivity of the branch network.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day activities of the Tawtheeq hub, ensuring deadlines are met and process and UAECB response TAT are not exceeded.
• Handle escalation enquiries and maintain accuracy, timeliness and relevance of MIS reports.
• Own the centralized MIS tracker, develop new MIS formats, templates and KPIs for management and internal communication.
• Assist in updating bank policies and procedures in response to regulatory changes, internal audits and examinations.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly issue reviews, present analytical studies of team performance and maintain issue logs.
• Collaborate constructively with other team members and complete all required AML, compliance and other trainings.

Required profile

• Strong awareness of GCD and compliance regulations applicable to compliance officers.
• Broad knowledge of ADIB’s retail operational policies and procedures.
• Good understanding of UAE banking practices, regulations, risks and anti‑money‑laundering rules issued by the UAE Central Bank.
• Analytical and research abilities to define problems and develop action plans.
• Proficiency in management information systems and computer applications.
