Tech Lead – Mobile Banking

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tech Lead to drive the delivery of mobile banking solutions for a leading financial institution in Dubai. The role will oversee a dedicated squad and ensure that mobile products meet business objectives and architectural standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a mobile banking squad composed of developers, backend engineers, QA, DevOps and business analysts.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of mobile banking initiatives, from design through production release.
• Drive technical design, solution reviews, sprint and release planning, and delivery governance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to React Native, Android and iOS teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, UX/UI designers and business stakeholders.
• Oversee integrations with APIs, micro‑services, authentication platforms and core banking systems.
• Support production releases, go‑live activities, incident management and executive reporting.

Required profile

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3–5 years in a technical or engineering lead role.
• Proven track record delivering Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Digital Onboarding, Payments or other Financial Services solutions.
• Hands‑on experience with React Native, Android and iOS development and mobile application lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of API‑first architecture, micro‑services and event‑driven integration patterns.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, mobile security and secure coding practices.
