Technical Account Manager – Cloud

About the role

The Technical Account Manager – Cloud will be the single point of contact for du’s enterprise cloud customers, responsible for delivering financial targets, ensuring profitable consumption and driving long‑term growth. You will own the end‑to‑end relationship, from pre‑sales intelligence to post‑sale delivery and payment collection.

Key responsibilities

• Own the client relationship, profit & loss, and delivery outcomes for assigned cloud accounts.
• Generate and qualify leads, build pipeline, and maintain accurate forecasting in line with performance objectives.
• Collaborate with architects and sales teams, providing sales intelligence before solution design.
• Enforce rigorous pricing, discount and margin controls, escalating to financial authority when needed.
• Monitor cloud consumption against sold targets and drive year‑on‑year account expansion.
• Manage overdue payments in partnership with Finance and ensure timely collection.
• Utilise artificial intelligence tools daily to validate documents and support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing strategic cloud accounts in a telecom or technology environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a focus on profitability and growth.
• Excellent governance mindset – adherence to bid estimates, documentation standards and escalation procedures.
• Ability to work autonomously, own outcomes and coordinate cross‑functional teams.
