Technical Assistant – Robotics

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Assistant to support the preparation, deployment and maintenance of our robotic systems in Dubai. The role combines hands‑on robot handling, on‑site and remote customer support, and the creation of technical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, configure, test and perform pre‑delivery checks on robots for demos, rentals and customer hand‑overs.
• Coordinate with sales and operations to schedule demos and deliveries, resolving technical issues before deployment.
• Conduct SLAM mapping at customer sites and adjust navigation parameters to suit the environment.
• Provide on‑site and remote support for robot setup, operation, navigation and troubleshooting, logging cases and escalating complex issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, charging, software checks and minor repairs on showroom robots.
• Assist with safe packing, loading, unloading and transport of robots for deliveries and exhibitions.
• Create and maintain setup guides, operating instructions, FAQs and how‑to videos for internal and customer use.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Basic understanding of robotics hardware, software, sensors and navigation.
• Willingness to learn and apply SLAM mapping and autonomous navigation techniques.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and comfort in customer‑facing technical support.
• Ability to read technical manuals and quickly learn new robotic systems.
