Technical Engineer (AE)

About the role

Group AMANA is seeking a Technical Engineer (AE) to support construction projects across the United Arab Emirates. The role involves technical design, documentation, and on‑site coordination to ensure projects meet specifications and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform calculations and analysis to support engineering decisions.
• Develop, review, and approve detailed technical designs, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for engineering projects.
• Conduct site visits to verify compliance with design standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, BIM team, and other departments to resolve technical issues.
• Oversee junior technical engineers and provide guidance.
• Prepare bid packages, review material submittals, and manage procurement addenda.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation related to engineering activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in construction engineering with ability to lead technical documentation.
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.

Required skills

• BIM coordination.
