Technical & Environmental Services Manager

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Technical & Environmental Services Manager to lead facilities management for a high‑traffic retail mall in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for ensuring top‑class hygiene, waste handling, and sustainability across a complex of over 100,000 daily visitors and 400 tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee performance and delivery of both hard and soft FM services, including cleaning, landscaping, pest control, and waste management.
• Supervise service providers, monitor contracts, and ensure compliance with international standards.
• Implement cleaning tactics for internal and external areas such as sky‑glasses, façades, car parks, and signage.
• Develop and enforce hygiene and waste strategies for food courts, restrooms, common areas, and collection points.
• Plan, coordinate, and control FM strategies to meet operational and sustainability targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of facilities management experience, preferably in large‑scale retail environments.
• Strong knowledge of hard and soft FM services; FM certification is an advantage.
• Proven ability to manage multiple service providers and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with a focus on operational excellence.
