Technical Field Sales Representative Africa

About the role

Clarios is seeking a Technical Field Sales Representative to support its Aftermarket business across Africa. Based in Dubai with a future transition to Riyadh, you will combine technical expertise with sales acumen to help customers adopt Clarios battery solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical trainings on‑site, in small groups and at conferences, covering battery technologies, diagnostics, fitting procedures and vehicle electronics.
• Create training materials and technical documentation for customers and internal teams.
• Perform product demonstrations, trials and support technical and warranty queries.
• Manage technical and warranty claims, guiding customers through the resolution process.
• Guide customers through technical discussions to sales closure, engaging mechanics, engineers and senior managers.
• Support trade shows and market‑presence activities across the region.

Required profile

• Professional qualification in a technical, engineering or related commercial field.
• Several years of experience in a sales or technical role within the automotive industry, with exposure to African markets.
• Strong technical background in cars and preferably batteries.
• Experience delivering technical training and using webinar or social‑media tools.
• Self‑starter with commercial acumen, full driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
