Technical Manager – Cloud Infrastructure Engineering

About the role

Emirates Group is seeking a Technical Manager to lead its Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team in Dubai. You will be responsible for the full technical lifecycle of cloud technologies, ensuring they meet business needs, comply with corporate policies, and deliver high availability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, engineer, plan, implement, operate and support cloud technologies and services.
• Develop and maintain documented operational processes for 1st and 2nd level support.
• Provide 3rd level support and act as a centre of excellence for incident and problem management.
• Ensure capacity, availability and performance of cloud environments to meet current and future demand.
• Define and monitor KPIs aligned with departmental goals.
• Manage security compliance, audit findings, and timely patch deployment.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with cloud technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure in a large, global organization.
• Strong understanding of cloud lifecycle management, capacity planning, and availability engineering.
• Ability to define KPIs, produce accurate reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Experience with security policies, audit processes, and risk management.
