Technical Services Engineer I – Fleet Management

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Technical Services Engineer I to join its Fleet Technical Management team. The role supports the airframe, structures, avionics, powerplant and cabin interior sections, ensuring aircraft remain airworthy, reliable and cost‑effective.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fleet technical management and continuing airworthiness support for assigned aircraft sections.
• Evaluate manufacturer and regulatory documentation, update internal engineering orders and special workcards.
• Analyse in‑service data (tech logs, pilot reports, defect reports) and implement actions to improve reliability and maintainability.
• Deliver technical assistance during disruptions, including AOG handling, troubleshooting, and management of chronic or deferred defects.
• Perform design activities such as developing SOPs, in‑house repairs, use of alternate parts and deviations under Part 21 Design Organisation authority.
• Support acquisition of new aircraft and end‑of‑lease activities.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering qualification and an Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence.
• Experience in aircraft technical services, preferably within an airline or MRO environment.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and continuing airworthiness processes.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
