Technical Superintendent – Dry Fleet Operations

About the role

The Technical Superintendent for the Dry Fleet will lead the technical management of ADNOC Logistics & Services' vessels, ensuring safe, efficient and reliable operations across the fleet.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily technical operations, maintenance, repairs and budgeting for assigned ships.
• Manage survey schedules, onboard assessments, inspections and docking activities.
• Develop and implement the dry‑fleet department strategic plan from a technical perspective.
• Review and supervise ship repair requests, ensuring compliance with class societies, IMO, OCIMF and ICS standards while controlling costs.
• Lead the dry‑docking process: prepare specifications, analyse tenders and supervise repairs.
• Monitor maintenance schedules, renew ship certifications and ensure equipment longevity.
• Coordinate acquisition of marine equipment, spare parts and ensure provision of navigation, safety and communication systems.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in technical management of commercial vessels.
• Strong knowledge of class societies, IMO regulations, OCIMF and ICS guidelines.
• Proven ability to manage dry‑docking projects and large‑scale maintenance programmes.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control and tender evaluation.
