Technical Trainer – Hard Services (Facilities Management)

About the role

EFS Facilities Services is seeking a hands‑on Technical Trainer – Hard Services to design and deliver training programmes for engineering and maintenance teams across its UAE operations. The role focuses on improving technician competency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver structured technical training covering HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other hard‑services disciplines.
• Conduct hands‑on and classroom sessions to enhance troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance skills.
• Perform technical competency assessments and identify development needs.
• Create and maintain training materials, SOPs, work instructions and assessment documentation.
• Provide training on HSE requirements, safe working practices, permit‑to‑work systems and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Facility, Engineering and Operations managers to align training with operational needs.
• Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, feedback and performance metrics.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, certifications and employee development plans.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in facilities management, MEP, engineering, maintenance or technical training.
• Strong practical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Proven experience delivering technical training to technicians and engineering teams.
• Experience conducting competency assessments and creating upskilling plans.
