Teller – Customer Service & Cash Operations

About the role

Deliver quality teller service to customers in Abu Dhabi, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of cash and transaction activities while representing ADIB’s professional image. The role supports both retail and private banking customers and contributes to branch operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Process all teller counter transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, drafts, telegraphic transfers, payment orders, standing orders, foreign currency purchases/sales, and cheque deposits in line with policies.
• Cross‑sell or refer product inquiries to sales staff, and serve private banking customers at dedicated counters.
• Act as one of the dual custodians for branch vault cash and security stationery, assisting the Head of Operations with cash reconciliation, end‑of‑day balancing and general filing.
• Coordinate with the Treasury department to obtain optimal rates for VIP and high‑net‑worth customers.
• Ensure proper understanding and processing of centralized activities as part of Branch Operations Centralization Projects.

Required profile

• Knowledge of ADIB’s retail banking products, services and operational policies.
• Familiarity with UAE banking regulations, Central Bank guidelines and local market competitors.
• Ability to perform cash reconciliation, vault control and general filing duties.
• UAE national status (position limited to UAE nationals).
