Test Craftsperson/Automation

About the role

We are looking for a Test Craftsperson/Automation to join a remote‑first engineering team in the United Arab Emirates. In this role you will own testing across the full software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with developers, product owners and clients to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and execute functional and automated test cases in a continuous‑deployment environment.
• Build, maintain and evolve test automation frameworks using modern tools and engineering practices.
• Leverage AI tools responsibly to generate test scenarios, analyse bug patterns and create mock data.
• Develop and troubleshoot automated test scripts, improving reliability and maintainability.
• Act as the user’s representative to ensure system stability, predictability and safe deployment of new features.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers and stakeholders during sprint planning and product roadmap discussions.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong understanding of continuous deployment, DevOps and Agile practices.
• Ability to work independently in a remote‑first environment and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
