Trade Merchandising Trainee

About the role

Join the Regional Architecture & Trade Merchandising Team of Parfums Christian Dior in Dubai as a Trade Merchandising Trainee. You will support the creation and design of small retail animations across a network of 600 points of sale, ensuring each in‑store experience reflects Dior’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Trade Merchandising Project Manager in designing off‑counter trade animations, pop‑ups, and events.
• Adapt international visual guidelines to local retailer briefs, producing 2D and 3D models using Sketchup.
• Prepare technical packages, review technical drawings, and follow up on production, material selection, and quality control.
• Create bespoke presentations and opening books for stakeholders.
• Support visual merchandising adaptations for POS windows, animation walls, and forecast elements based on the marketing plan.
• Deploy retail animations according to the trade‑marketing plan and ensure compliance with brand standards.

Required profile

• Graduate in Design or a related field.
• Strong interest in retail and the cosmetics industry.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal); French or Arabic is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD packages, especially Sketchup.
• Experience using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
