Trainee Project Engineer

About the role

The trainee Project Engineer program is an entry‑level opportunity for UAE nationals to start a career in the defence and technology sector. Based in Abu Dhabi, the role combines structured technical training with hands‑on experience on real defence projects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in technical training modules covering electronics, mechatronics, networks and security.
• Operate, configure and troubleshoot systems under the guidance of experienced mentors.
• Document test results, prepare reports and contribute to team discussions.
• Engage in continuous professional development and demonstrate commitment to learning.

Required profile

• UAE national.
• Bachelor’s degree (or final‑year student) in Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Strong interest in technology, defence and innovation.
• Good problem‑solving abilities, teamwork and clear communication.
• Prior internship or project experience in a technical area is a plus but not mandatory.
