Transportation Lead

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Transportation Lead to join our Supply Chain team in the UAE. In this role you will drive operational excellence across multiple regions, ensuring secure and efficient movement of high‑value products while meeting cost, service and compliance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage relationships with transport providers, freight forwarders and 3PL partners.
• Lead transport tendering, vendor negotiations and contract management.
• Ensure secure transportation of luxury goods, applying anti‑theft protocols and shipment tracking.
• Oversee operations across GCC, Middle East, North America and Europe, including customs compliance, bonded movements and free‑zone requirements.
• Optimize routes, vehicle utilization and delivery scheduling.
• Monitor transportation budgets, freight spend and operational costs.
• Provide performance reporting, KPI tracking and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Warehousing, Demand Planning, Customer Service and Commercial teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5–7 years of transportation or logistics experience in the UAE/GCC.
• Valid driving licence (mandatory).
• Experience in FMCG, retail, warehousing or distribution.
• Strong geographical knowledge of GCC, Middle East, North America and Europe.
• Expertise in Dangerous Goods transportation regulations.
• In‑depth understanding of GCC customs regulations and cross‑border logistics.
• Proven analytical, stakeholder‑management and vendor‑negotiation abilities.
