Uniform Room Attendant

About the role

The Uniform Room Attendant ensures the safety, cleanliness and organization of all hotel uniforms. Working in the uniform room, you will manage inventory, coordinate with the outsourced laundry and support the hotel's brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, count and dispatch soiled uniforms to the outsourced laundry provider.
• Inspect incoming and returned uniforms for damage and compliance with hotel standards.
• Tag, assign, store and replenish uniforms in designated bags and inventory locations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the uniform room and perform minor repairs.
• Complete required paperwork and operate the uniform room management system.
• Conduct daily inventory counts and update records of clean and received uniforms.
• Liaise with the laundry service to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor and replenish linen supplies on hotel floors as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in a similar uniform or linen room role.
• Good interpersonal skills and physical fitness.
• Basic tailoring knowledge.
• Proficiency in English.
