University Shuttle Driver – Dubai

About the role

The American University in the Emirates is seeking a reliable driver to operate its shuttle service, providing safe pick‑up and drop‑off transportation for students, staff, and university personnel. The role requires professionalism, flexibility with shift timings, and a strong focus on customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Operate university shuttle vehicles according to the daily schedule, ensuring timely pick‑up and drop‑off of students and staff.
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, deliveries, and vehicle usage.
• Monitor speed limits and drive safely to protect passengers.
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, fuelled, and up‑to‑date on maintenance.
• Assist with the transport of supplies for university events and the relocation of personnel to accommodation.
• Respond promptly to calls on a cellular phone and communicate professionally with all university members.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid UAE driving license.
• 1–3 years of relevant driving experience in the UAE.
• Professional appearance and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to changing schedules.

Required skills

• Valid UAE Driving License.
