UX Designer

About the role

Brainlake is seeking an experienced UX Designer to shape complex digital products and services. The position is contract‑based and focuses 80% on user experience design and 20% on visual UI work, with an emphasis on leveraging AI‑powered tools.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business requirements, research insights, and user needs into clear UX solutions.
• Define user journeys, flows, navigation structures, and information architecture.
• Create low‑ and high‑fidelity wireframes for web, mobile, and responsive experiences.
• Design complex multi‑user journeys, interaction patterns, states, and edge cases.
• Produce interactive prototypes to validate concepts and communicate designs.
• Identify usability issues and propose streamlined solutions.
• Collaborate with researchers, service designers, product, business, and technical teams.
• Present UX decisions and rationale to clients and stakeholders.
• Deliver polished UI designs when required, adhering to the design system.
• Contribute to design systems, component libraries, and experiment with AI‑driven design workflows.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on UX design experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong UX focus, including user flows, IA, wireframes, and interaction design.
• Experience designing complex digital platforms or services.
• Ability to work with ambiguous or complex problems and produce clear design decisions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AI‑enhanced design tools for exploration, wireframing, and prototyping.
