Van Driver – Medical & Pharmaceutical Logistics

About the role

The Van Driver will ensure safe, timely, and compliant transportation of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and temperature‑sensitive cold‑chain items between the central store, clinics, and pharmacies across Dubai. The role follows Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations and Al‑Futtaim’s internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a light‑duty van exclusively for medical and pharmaceutical deliveries.
• Plan efficient routes to guarantee on‑time deliveries throughout Dubai.
• Load and unload items accurately, obtain proof of delivery for each trip.
• Conduct pre‑trip vehicle inspections (tire pressure, lights, fuel, safety hazards).
• Report any vehicle damage, incidents, or traffic violations immediately to the Store In‑Charge.
• Maintain accurate documentation: trip sheets, delivery orders, fuel logs, incident reports, and receipts.
• Monitor fuel consumption and ensure the vehicle remains clean and hygienic.
• Comply with RTA regulations, warehouse safety protocols, internal SOPs, and company policies.

Required profile

• Previous experience in medical or healthcare deliveries within Dubai.
• Valid UAE light‑vehicle driving licence.
• At least 12 months of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Experience handling temperature‑sensitive cold‑chain items.
• Valid UAE light vehicle driving licence.
