Vendor Manager

About the role

Core42 is seeking a Vendor Manager to own and evolve its strategic supplier relationships across the organization. The role will drive supplier onboarding, governance, performance measurement and continuous improvement, working closely with Supply Chain, Contracts, Finance, Legal, Compliance and business teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, acting as the primary relationship owner.
• Create supplier account plans, governance frameworks, and engagement models.
• Facilitate executive supplier meetings and strategic alignment discussions.
• Lead supplier segmentation, defining tiers (strategic, preferred, operational, transactional) and associated governance requirements.
• Own the supplier onboarding and vendor lifecycle management framework, overseeing registration, qualification and ongoing governance.
• Manage the Vendor Management team and serve as the escalation point for strategic suppliers.
• Drive collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in supplier or vendor management, procurement or supply chain functions.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex supplier ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of supplier governance, risk mitigation and performance measurement.
• Experience working with finance, legal, compliance and business stakeholders.
