Vice President – Asset Management (Commercial)

About the role

Lead the strategic management of Aldar’s commercial assets in Abu Dhabi, driving portfolio value, financial performance and tenant experience. The role reports to senior leadership and supports the company’s long‑term investment objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement asset strategies, optimise portfolio performance and oversee asset repositioning and capital recycling.
• Manage financial performance metrics such as NOI, occupancy, yield and total return, and lead budgeting and financial reporting.
• Direct leasing strategies to maximise occupancy, rental growth and tenant retention, and oversee commercialisation initiatives.
• Lead asset enhancement programmes and CAPEX projects, coordinating with Development, Legal, Finance and Operations.
• Govern property and facilities service providers through SLAs, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal units and external stakeholders including tenants, brokers and consultants.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in real estate, asset management or related advisory, with at least 5 years in a commercial focus.
• At least 2 years in a managerial position within banking, real‑estate consultancy or management consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance or Accounting; MBA, CFA, CA or CPA preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency.
• Financial modeling and valuation expertise.
• Ability to interpret transaction documentation such as NDAs, MoUs, LoIs and SPAs.
