Vice President, Credit – Structured Finance

About the role

The Vice President, Credit – Structured Finance is responsible for conducting detailed credit assessments, preparing credit appraisal memos, and managing the health of an allocated portfolio. The role also leads a team of credit analysts and supports budgeting, regulatory reporting, portfolio reviews, and MIS from a Group Credit perspective.

Key responsibilities

• Independently evaluate and approve corporate and structured debt facilities across sectors, including working capital, trade, project finance, asset finance, real estate, and leveraged acquisitions.
• Analyze complex transaction structures, asset quality, and counter‑party risk; review term sheets and identify credit and structural risks with legal counsel.
• Set credit terms, limits, covenants, and seniority; monitor ongoing exposure at product and counter‑party levels.
• Manage portfolio reviews, monitor delinquencies, early warnings, covenant compliance, and engage business counterparts on credit issues.
• Participate in digitalisation and automation projects, representing Group Credit and leading initiatives where appropriate.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of banking experience, with 5‑7 years focused on structured debt financing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Commerce or a related field.
