Vice President – Property Insurance (Dubai)

About the role

The Vice President – Property Insurance will lead the growth and profitability of Orient Insurance’s property insurance portfolio in Dubai. Reporting to the Senior Vice President – Property, the role focuses on acquiring new business, retaining renewals, and managing key client relationships with brokers and intermediaries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve premium targets and increase market share.
• Manage relationships with brokers, intermediaries and internal development teams to promote insurance products.
• Oversee risk management, including arranging favourable reinsurance and conducting risk inspections.
• Monitor premium collections, follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely cash flow.
• Prepare management reports on market conditions, competition and business performance.
• Ensure accurate underwriting, premium calculation and policy documentation in line with guidelines.
• Lead and develop the property insurance team, fostering a customer‑centric culture.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in property insurance or related financial services.
• Strong track record of business development and achieving revenue targets.
• Deep understanding of risk management, reinsurance arrangements and underwriting processes.
• Excellent client relationship and negotiation skills.
• Ability to analyse market data and produce strategic recommendations.
